In 2020, with Covid, we directly experienced how people’s actions change as a result of new scientific information. When there are dramatic shifts in the way a society functions, the etiquette around new habits changes; for example masks are now seen as commonplace and good etiquette in terms of protecting others.
In 2021, during the COP26 Conference, Science explained that Climate Change is at a critical point and that everyone must play their part in creating a lighter footprint on our planet. The cultural etiquette surrounding new climate-friendly habits will also change. This gives us the opportunity to create a NEW etiquette for Fabric Gift Wrap. In Japan, their cloth wrap (known as Furoshiki) is traditionally returned to the giver. We are bringing this tradition into our Western Culture and encouraging the receiver to return the wrap, with thanks.
Each wrap comes with a tag that politely requests the receiver to return the wrap to you... so you don’t have to do the asking.
This can be attached using the ribbon, along with your own gift tag.
